One of the most common objections for skipping exercise is… I don’t have time!

Today, we will take a look at this topic and see what options may be available to you and perhaps share a useful fitness tip or two.

No Time To Exercise, What Can You Do?

The funny thing here is that we ALL have the same time available to us which is no more and no less than 24 hours per day… period. You cannot make more time, you cannot buy more time, it is just one of those commodities that money cannot help! So, what is it then? Well before I answer this question, you should understand that time, the ultimate measure, can be somewhat manipulated. Not in the sense of immediate payback, but in the form of extending your time here based on your lifestyle. And yes, exercise for sure helps you do that! But to really answer the question, it is all about how you manage your time!

OK, fine sounds great, but I still have no time to exercise!

Fitness Tip of the DayIt really depends on whether you understand the luxury of time and if you do, some changes will be made. First, you must decide that it is time to do something about it and be open minded and seek some solutions. There are quite a few options available, you just have to be willing to make some changes and perhaps get a little uncomfortable. I will share my fitness tip of the day: Get Comfortable With Being Uncomfortable- Jillian Michaels. It will take some sacrifice from you to make time. You may have to give up some things like watching TV, useless browsing on Facebook are just a couple of tips that you could consider. Furthermore, there are even at home workout programs available that will get it done in 30 minutes or less that will save you time and trip to the gym.

Now let’s be honest here, can you find 30 minutes per day for exercise to get more time at the end? Look in the mirror when answering this question, because the only person fooled here would be looking right back at ya! It really is not that hard, but sure is uncomfortable to start. As I said, you have to decide first that you really want it. But what could be some other benefits from exercising? Oh… I don’t know… You may look better, you may feel better, people that know you will pay you compliments, you may live longer, you may be stronger… and the list goes on! I hope this strikes a nerve a bit, if it did- great, that was the intention.
