Holidays… my favorite time of the year, especially Thanksgiving! Family, friends, great food, how can you not overeat?

And you do which follows with regrets the next day! But do you know how you can easily recover after the Holiday Feast?

5 Ways To Recover After Holiday Feast

So you over indulge during the Holiday season which is counterproductive with you fitness goals. So now what? Don’t worry, let’s review a helpful fitness tip that could get you back on track faster than you think.

To start off, do not beat yourself up. Things happen and sometimes for a good reason, but being too hard on yourself will only create negative feelings around you and will just make things worse. It happened, you cannot change the past… it is OK!

So now that you have realized what has been done, don’t starve yourself just the get back on track. In fact, you should try to get back to normal routine by eating smaller meals more frequently. This is a key to building strong and responsive metabolism.

The next thing that you have to do to overcome the Holiday Feast is to get in a good session of exercise. Try to sweat as much as possible. Sometimes after a poor nutrition day, I dress a little warmer for my usual exercise routines just to get more sweat. It is almost like your fat is crying when you generate a good sweat session- and it feels so good when you are done!

Hmmm, so what else could you be doing to get back on track and workout the naughty extra calories? The answer is quite simple actually- eat clean! Doing this for the next three days will certainly help getting you back on track! One day will not make a huge difference although may set you back just a hair. Remember… you have to consume 3,500 calories to gain 1 pound.

So the last fitness tip of the day  to get back on track is to try to flush your system. One of the easiest ways to do this is to drink green tea. Very effective and easy to do!
