Fitness Tip: 5 Easy Steps To Follow

It is no secret that your Health and Fitness journey may seem overwhelming sometimes to the point where you want to give up. Lack of results or long road ahead may be just a couple of reasons for these naughty thoughts to pop in your head. Or maybe you are just getting ready to start your journey and not quite sure what to do. Whatever the case may be, I will share my fitness tip of the day and prepare you for some minor changes that you should consider in the 5 Easy Steps To Follow.

First fitness tip may seem odd to you but get enough sleep. Your body recovers during the sleep and the brain flushes toxins to prepare  you for the next day. If possible, you should be targeting 7-9 hours of sleep per night. If you struggle with this, check out some ideas to Get Better Sleep Here!

Fitness TipNext up is breakfast and if you usually skip this meal, you may want to reconsider this. Your body needs some fuel to get you going and will help you with hunger control through out the day, mental sharpness to get going as well as give you more strength and endurance. I am not a big breakfast person, so for this fitness tip, I suggest that you try a smoothie. You can use fruits or vegetables, yogurt or perhaps even add some protein powder. My all time favorite is a chocolate shake. How awesome is this? Not only you are working on your fitness goals, but you get to drink chocolate shakes?!?

When it comes to exercise, I like more aggressive approach that will extend to breaking a sweat. Generally I only have 30 minutes available and if I don’t break a sweat, I don’t feel like I’ve gotten anything done. My fitness tip here is… turn it up and SWEAT!!!

Snacking through out the day is my secret fitness tip. It helps to have a snack between the meals to keep me going, but let’s be wise here. A bag of chips or doughnuts would not be a good choice. I prefer fruits or nuts and if all fails a protein bar. Make a better choice and with time this will be much easier.

My last fitness tip is to find a good way to manage your stress. In some cases I use exercise as a stress relief while others I do some meditation. Find what works for you!
