Quite honestly there is no specific timetable that would reflect when you will start seeing your fitness results. But here is the question- are you sore after your first workout? Of course you are, and as such while not visible yet, you are already having some fitness results! And the visual part… well that is just a matter of time providing you keep at it.
The next question is, are you hungry now that you started working out? That is a good indication that fitness results will be coming! Wait, what?! How is being hungry helping me achieve my fitness results especially if you are trying to loose weight? It simply means that you are burning more calories than you are used to and your body wants to replace them. As long as you make a healthy choice this will not be a problem.
As your body starts to adapt this change, the benefits of working out will be coming soon as well, meaning that results are on the way. Your body will resist this change for sure and it will almost seem like you are working out but not losing weight. The key here is patience and keep going!
Your fitness results will depend on how well your body adapts to this change and is different for every person. The big takeaway here would be not to trust the scale, but rather trust the measurements and pictures (you did take your measurements and before pictures, right?)
Some people may start seeing fitness results within a few days, but for some it could be weeks. Another good fitness tip is to gauge how you feel! Do you have more energy, do you sleep better, more focus throughout the day? Those are ALL fitness related results.
At the end of the day, it does not matter how fast you start seeing results, but the fact that you are changing your lifestyle and improving your health as well as fitness. Keep going and never give up!
